Dr. Krishnan is an award-winning graduate of the USC School of Dentistry (Class of 2007). He was recognized for his passion for excellence by being awarded 3 scholarships, 2 clinical achievement awards, and graduating on the dean's list with a near-perfect GPA.

He has extensive practice experience both in the US and abroad. He worked with Clinicas Del Camino Real, Inc., in Ventura, CA, for almost 6 years, during which time he was selected to lead the dental department as the ‘Dental Director’. He greatly expanded services, including digitizing the entire dental department during his tenure, and managed all clinical operations for 8 dental health centers and over 20 dentists before establishing his own practice with ‘Insight Dentistry’.

He is known and loved by his patients for his perfectionist nature, outstanding clinical abilities, and calming chairside manners.

Dr. Crystal Boldbaatar is a compassionate and skilled dentist who is deeply committed to providing exceptional care to her patients. She began her academic journey at the University of Washington, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology. In 2023, she graduated from Dalhousie University's School of Dentistry in Halifax, Nova Scotia, where her academic excellence and outstanding patient care were recognized through multiple awards and a prestigious scholarship in recognition of her dedication and hard work.

Following her dental school accomplishments, Dr. Boldbaatar further honed her expertise by completing a post-graduate residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry in Santa Barbara through NYU in 2024. This advanced training allowed her to expand her knowledge and techniques, ensuring she could offer the highest quality care to her patients.

Dr. Boldbaatar is known for her gentle, patient-focused approach. She takes the time to truly listen to her patients' needs and concerns, and she carefully designs treatment plans that are tailored to each individual. Her warmth, attentiveness, and commitment to providing the best possible care make her a trusted partner in her patients' oral health. Dr. Boldbaatar is passionate about making a positive difference, one smile at a time.

When she’s not working, Dr. Boldbaatar enjoys painting, baking, and traveling with her husband.

Dr. Sam is a graduate of Boston University Dental School, where he completed his undergraduate dental training. He practiced for 10 years as a general practitioner before going back to school, as he enjoyed endodontics as a specialty, and completed his specialty training in UOP AEGD from the University of Boston.

He is a classical guitarist and works in multiple offices where he visits once or twice a month as needed. He is a perfectionist who tries very hard to make every patient's visit quick and painless. Once treatment is completed, you will be seen by our Insight doctors for follow-up care, and since we have all records and X-rays in-house, it helps in keeping complete control of the quality of care rendered.

Dr. Stefan Filip earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) degree from The University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Bucharest, Romania in 2009, where he received comprehensive training in both General Dentistry and General Medicine. Driven by a deep interest in human health and development, he later attended the University of California, Santa Barbara, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Physical Anthropology with focused study in human evolution, anatomy, and behavior.

In 2016, Dr. Filip received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree from the University of Southern California School of Dentistry, where he trained extensively in advanced dental technologies, modern treatment methods, and comprehensive patient care. Throughout his education and professional development, he has remained committed to serving diverse communities, volunteering and working in clinics dedicated to providing care for homeless, disabled, and underserved populations.

Since completing his formal education, Dr. Filip has pursued extensive postdoctoral training in physiologic, aesthetic, biological, and comprehensive restorative dentistry, including advanced full-mouth rehabilitation and functional smile design. His approach integrates oral health, function, facial balance, and overall well-being to support long-term health and quality of life.

Dr. Filip is known not only for his clinical precision, but also for his compassionate and attentive chairside manner. Together with the team at Insight Dental, he strives to create an environment where patients feel safe, heard, and genuinely cared for. His philosophy centers on education, prevention, and treating the underlying causes of oral health concerns—not simply the symptoms. He believes dentistry should support the overall well-being, balance, and confidence of each individual patient.

Patients who experience dental anxiety often find comfort in Dr. Filip’s calm and thoughtful approach. His goal is to help every patient feel empowered in their health while achieving lasting function, comfort, and a natural, confident smile.

Outside the office, Dr. Filip enjoys skiing, tango dancing, martial arts, reading, and film. His diverse interests reflect his belief in maintaining balance, curiosity, and continual personal growth—values he brings into the care of every patient.
